Terms and Conditions

NE Computer and Digital Services (Proprietor Nicholas Evans) provides IT support and consultancy services to the general public and to businesses.

By instructing NE Computer and Digital Services to carry out any work the client agress to the following conditions.

"I am over 18 and have instructed ‘NE Computer and Digital Services’ (Proprietor: Nicholas Evans) to carry out the following work [As specified in the Work Order]. I accept the minimum charge of £40 or the agreed price, as appropriate.

I am responsible for any files, content or passwords on my computer system; it is my responsibility to ensure that I have backup copies of any data or programs. ‘NE Computer and Digital Services’ will not process, copy or restore any adult, explicit or antisocial material. I understand that some applications, passwords or devices may require reinstallation following repairs. I am responsible for providing any necessary passwords, licences, software and hardware required unless a prior arrangement has been made.

‘NE Computer and Digital Services’ is not responsible for any unforeseeable consequences of repair and liability is limited to the cost charged for repair only. ‘NE Computer and Digital Services’ will not be liable for any business or other losses such as lost data, lost profits or business interruption. In the event that it is not possible to repair the specified equipment, ‘NE Computer and Digital Services’ will recommend further action but shall not be liable for the cost of any further actions. Any advice is given in good faith and is based on documented I.T. procedures and I am responsible for any actions I take arising from it.

These terms do not affect my normal legal rights."
